Pneumatic Hog Ring Gun

An alternative to lacing of gabions, ‘C’ rings are closed on the vertical and horizontal joints to secure panels together. It requires 1 ring every other mesh opening to provide a joint of adequate strength. For coastal applications of gabions then 1 ring should be fixed every mesh opening.

C Rings

For use in the hog ring gun, supplied in boxes of 1000 in stainless steel for use with PVC coated gabions and boxes of 1600 with a triple life coating for galvanised or triple life coated gabions.

Helicals

An alternative to lacing used on vertical joints, the 4.0mm wire helical is wound down the joint to secure adjacent units together, this provides the strongest and most consistent joint system. The helicals encompass the cut ends of the mesh reducing the possibility of snagging and should be specified for gabions in public places.

For Gabion 700 System in triple life coated units helicals are supplied.

For Standard Gabions helicals are an additional item

Geotextile

A 200g Non-Woven needlepunch geotextile is available in small quantities

Galvanised Clamp Bars Predrilled

Available to order to secure gabion cladding units to structures or box sections.
